Urgent Need!
When you order from Instacart or other delivery services please order an extra box of groceries for households in need, if you are able. Instruct the delivery service to send the box to St. James Church, 4301 St. Ferdinand Ave. St Louis, MO 63113 (use the red side door). They will make sure the food gets to the vulnerable families.
DONATIONS REQUESTED: Canned Goods, Water, Paper Items, Cleaning Items, Sanitary Items (such as diapers and feminine hygiene needs), Non-Perishables Items—pastas, rice and beans, Family Hygiene Products and Boxes/Bags to be used for deliveries.

Tikkun Closet
The tikkun closet is always in need of people to help organize the donations and make sure the closet is always stocked with food and clothes. This is a great opportunity for busy people to make a huge difference in our community without a major time investment.

Challah Bakers
If you love to bake, this is the opportunity for you! Our challah bakers come in weekly to make delicious CRC challah, which we then sell as a fundraiser for the shul.

Office Volunteers
Our office volunteers are an important part of how we keep the wheels turning. On any given day, an office volunteer will answer the phone & transfer calls, assist our Tikkun Closet visitors, stuff envelopes, and/or do special projects to assist the staff.

Green Team/Mitzvah Farm
Because of our Green Team, CRC met the requirements to become a Green Faith Synagogue! Get involved by working on projects that help us be as green as possible and keep our earned status as a Green Faith Congregation.
Among other opportunities, you could work on the CRC Mitzvah Farm and grow veggies for our neighbors in need.
