- Poe
- Power over ethernet — you have to have a special ethernet switch (like a router, but just ports–no routing), but it means that the ethernet cable can power anything it plugs in to.
- Ndi
- This is a video transport protocol that lets us move full-band video/audio with almost no latency from one place to another
- Ip address
- You need to know what your local ip address is. Google “how to find my ip address”. You’re looking for your LOCAL address (ie, the address of your computer… most likely something like 192.168.1.17), not your public address (ie the address of your “home”)
