Central Reform Congregation

Throughout our history, CRC has been a shelter of peace where everyone is warmly welcomed. We have also been a bridge to the larger community, with a commitment to the Jewish principle of “Tikkun Olam” – “repair of the world.” We understand and accept our responsibility to be a part of the solution in our neighborhoods, our city, and our world.

Our programs throughout the year address a broad range of issues but focus on the issues identified as priorities by our biannual Tikkun Olam Survey. On the most recent (2017) Tikkun Olam Survey, the CRC community identified the following issues as our top social action priorities:

Increasing Access to Health Care
Poverty and Economic Justice
Racial Justice
Reproductive Rights
Immigration and Refugee Issues

For information on how you can get more involved in Tikkun Olam / Justice work at CRC, check out the TOSC (Tikkun Olam Steering Committee) page.
