Tikkun Olam Circle

The Tikkun Olam Circle has changed a lot over the years and has taken on different forms. Currently, we serve as the strategic umbrella for the individual Justice Chavurahs below. Occasionally TOC takes on special projects, like that of sponsoring an Afghan refugee family or making meals at Room at the Inn. Racial Justice Chavurah

4th Wednesday of the Month, 6:00 pm (when noted on the calendar.)

We focus on examining embedded racism in our lives, our congregation, and society, and identifying ways to be concretely anti-racist. Contact Co-leaders Micah Rose and Melissa Bennett at the button below.

Gun Violence Chavurah

3rd Thursday of the month, 7:00 pm (when noted on the calendar.)

The CRC Gun Violence Circle focuses on educating the CRC community on issues related to gun safety, gun violence prevention, and city gun violence.  We also focus on advocacy in support of better gun laws at the local, state and federal levels.  Contact Sarah Heyman at the button below to learn more.

LGBTQ+ Chavurah

The LGBTQ+ Chavurah aims to repair the world and cultivate joy by providing support to LGBTQ+ organizations, advocating for pro-LGBTQ+ policies at the state and local level, and providing opportunities for the LGBTQ+ CRC community members to connect and support each other.
