This year’s CRC Purim Carnival was filled with laughter, costumes, and incredible energy — and we have our 7th Grade Mitzvah Class to thank for making it truly unforgettable.
Under Rabbi Randy’s guidance, our students stepped into their roles as leaders, helpers, and role models with enthusiasm and heart. From running games and assisting younger children to bringing full “camp counselor energy” to every corner of the carnival, they embraced the Purim spirit in the best possible way.
Parents shared how much their families enjoyed the day, and longtime attendees told us it was the best carnival yet. One parent, bringing her toddler for the first time, even shared publicly how grateful she was for the warm and joyful presence of our 7th graders.
Each year, Rabbi Randy reminds the class to think back to when they were little — when the “cool older kids” helped make Purim magical — and to now be those leaders for the next generation. This class more than lived up to that charge.
Their hard work, positivity, and genuine care were a true mitzvah for our entire congregation. We are so proud of this special group and grateful for the joy they brought to our CRC community.
Kol Ha’kavod to our 7th Grade Mitzvah Class! 🎭✨
