About Our Staff
When you enter The Nest you feel the warmth and see the expertise of our staff. Each are highly dedicated professionals who take great pride in their work. They know the children well and work to make sure each child is cared for, engaged, and meeting their full potential.
Our staff is comprised of an diverse group of passionate educators who hold certifications in Early Childhood Education (or a closely related field) or have extensive experience working in the field. We believe in continuing education and support our staff's desire to expand upon their knowledge of early childhood development. All staff members are CPR and First Aid trained and certified.

Our Facility
Our classrooms are designed to meet the needs of children at their developmental level. Our spaces are intentionally designed as calm and nurturing environments. The rooms are focused on the children and their work, and the materials available empower them to develop and learn through exploration.
Our curriculum follows Missouri Early Learning Standards and interweaves art, music, science, math, pretend play, and literacy and sensory experiences throughout a child’s day. Each classroom is equipped with personal storage space, hand washing sinks, and diaper changing areas.
The center's playground and outdoor spaces are designed to be learning environments that incorporate areas for art, music, science and sensory, dramatic play, nature interactions, and large motor play. Children often take walks in the neighborhood or explore our vast outdoor campus. A favorite space is CRS’s community garden. Children are able to see plants grow from seed to harvest!
