Flood Relief

The University City High School Alumni Association (UCHSAA,) in partnership with All Nations Church, is working to help families with moderate incomes, no flood insurance or who are displaced by the recent floods in U City. To date, 350 homes and apartment units have been condemned with many more families also suffering extensive flood damage. FEMA has declared St. Louis a disaster area and will be providing limited assistance, which will not come close to covering the repair and replacement of all the damage.

During Sukkot CRC will collect $50 Target and Walmart Gift Cards to assist families in replacing clothing and household items, essentials not covered by FEMA.

While we welcome donations in whatever amount you’d like to give, we ask that each gift card is for $50 to allow distribution to as many families as possible.

Gift Cards can be dropped off to CRC’s front desk 9:30 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturday during Shabbat services October 8-14th.

These cards will provide direct aid and be distributed at an event hosted by UCHSAA on Saturday, October 15th.

If you prefer to donate funds in another manner, both the UCHSAA and All Nations Church have established accounts that are dedicated for use only to support flood victims. Donations to either fund are tax deductible and can be made in the following ways:
