Channeling Our Female Ancestors: A Creative Passover Experience
Sunday, March 29 | 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Just days before Passover, join us for a meaningful and creative exploration of the Exodus story through the lens of the six women whose courage, wisdom, and faith made liberation possible. Through melody, small-group text study, and personal reflection, we will consider the unique strengths of our female ancestors and explore how those same qualities live within us today.
In the second half of our time together, participants will create a special craft to take home and place on their seder table this year and for many Passovers to come.
To help connect our own stories with those who came before us, participants are asked to bring a small meaningful object that reflects their personal journey and a quality they associate with a female ancestor.
This program will be facilitated by Rabbi Shira Singelenberg (Shir Hadash) and Rabbi Karen Bogard (Central Reform Congregation).
This workshop is an inclusive, feminine-centered space for women and anyone comfortable participating.
Registration is requested.
