Join us for a special Shabbat weekend with famed Indian-American-Jewish artist, Siona Benjamin. You may know her as the artist of our Oneg floor- come get to know her more in this special weekend full of learning and joy.

Tallit, shawls, and a puzzle featuring the art of Siona Benjamin can be preordered when you register for any of the events. You can pick up your items during any of the events. Items will not be sold on site during Shabbat. Items will be sold on site during the Tu B’Shevat Seder.

Friday, February 3rd- Kabbalat Shabbat – 7 p.m.

Blue Like Me : Siona Benjamin’s unique perspective as an Indian-American-Jewish artist has inspired her to create art that represents her transcultural and multicultural narrative. Often featuring blue characters, Siona’s work illuminates vibrant colors, cultural & religious symbols in various mediums to create works that have synergy and meaning and challenge each of us to explore our own unique identities.

Saturday, February 4th, Shabbat Morning Services – 10 a.m.  

Join us for a dedication of a new Torah Cover & Ark Curtains designed by Siona Benjamin. We will learn about the Pardes and Eitz Chayim symbols on our new Torah Cover and Ark Curtain.

Saturday, February 4th, Tu B’Shevat Seder in the CRC Oneg – 7 p.m., $36 Donation

Share in the mystical ritual of the full moon that assures the refructification of the fruit trees. Learn more about the mysteries of our zodiac floor from the artist.
