May 4 – A Tribe, Not a Faith: A Text Study on Jewish Peoplehood- Rabbi Daniel Bogard

May 11 – “The Principles of Reform Judaism” 1885 and 1999- Rabbi Randy Fleisher
Description: Two times, groups of Reform Jewish rabbis and thinkers came together in Pittsburgh in an attempt to articulate the philosophy behind the movement. Over 100 years separated these gatherings. What changed? What remained the same? With both statements in hand, we will learn and discuss as a complete group as well as in pairs, ‘chevrutah’ style with Rabbi Randy facilitating.

May 25 – Text as Practice: Study a Mishnah from Pirkei Avot- Rabbis Susan Talve and James Stone Goodman
