We’re thrilled to welcome a very special surprise guest this Friday — Lucy Greenbaum — singer-songwriter, songleader, and cantorial student at Hebrew Union College’s Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music — as our Artist in Residence for a one-of-a-kind outdoor Shir Shabbat in the Mitzvah Garden.
A beloved presence in the St. Louis Jewish community, Lucy previously served as Director of Music Engagement at Congregation Shaare Emeth before beginning her cantorial studies, including a year of study in Jerusalem. Her soulful voice, heartfelt guitar, and deep passion for Jewish music make her the perfect person to help us usher in Shabbat under the open sky.
Join us this Friday, May 15 for an uplifting evening of music, spirit, and community you won’t want to miss!
Bring a camp chair or blanket and your picnic dinner. NO RSVP needed! Open to all!
All are welcomed to gather to share in community and the warmth of our Sukkat Shalom.
Together we’ll share a Shabbat filled with song, sustenance, and connection.
