Second Night Seder

Passover, the Jewish festival of freedom, is coming up! For more than 20 years, we have offered a congregational seder that Rabbi Randy leads on the second night of Passover, which this year will take place at 6 pm on Tuesday, April 23rd. There are several reasons someone might want to attend a seder on the second night of the holiday—they might want perspectives, stories, and melodies different from their first seder; they might not have had the opportunity to participate in a seder on the first night; they want to have a seder with old and new CRC friends.

Our second night seder will be fully catered with all the symbolic foods we eat during the service that help us understand the story (including wine and/or juice), as well as a delicious dinner meal and tasty desserts. The cost for everything is $70 per adult and $45 per youth under 12.

Whether you are a CRC second seder “regular,” or you want to try it out for the first time, please register here as soon as possible. Also, our second seder has always been open to all, so if you have family or friends who you think would be interested in participating but they are not CRC members, please feel free to send them this information and encourage them to register – the deadline for registration is Friday, April 12 at 5 pm.

We look forward to CRC being filled on April 23rd with songs, dialogue, teachings, food, family, friends, and a renewed sense of empathy for our oppressed ancestors and a determined hope for liberation for all!
