What is Hoshana Rabba?
Hoshana Rabba, “the Great Hoshana,” is the seventh and final day of Sukkot. It takes its name from the hoshanot, prayers for blessing and abundance chanted while circling with the lulav and etrog, and it has long been a night for staying up late with Torah study. It is a joyful way to close the festival season before Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah. Learn more about the fall holidays at CRC on our Holidays page.
This event is free and open to all; donations are encouraged to help underwrite it.
