Holiday Gift Drive for Gateway 180
CRC’s holiday gift drive in St. Louis supports Gateway 180, which runs a free on-site shop where parents staying with them can choose holiday gifts for their children.
They send us a list of what they need, and we fill it. Bring new, unwrapped items to the collection bin in the Oneg between December 1 and December 14 — every gift helps a family have a holiday to look forward to.
What Gateway 180 is looking for
Gifts go to Gateway 180’s Holiday Store, so they need a good mix of new, unwrapped gifts for kids of every age, from infants through teens.
- Infants & toddlers: developmental toys, stacking toys, blocks, dolls, stuffed animals, bath toys, board books, musical toys
- Young children: dolls and accessories, action figures, LEGO sets, arts and crafts kits, Play-Doh, puzzles, dress-up items, cars and trucks, board games
- Older children: science or STEM kits, jewelry-making or craft kits, sports equipment, games, books, headphones, room decor, age-appropriate electronics
- Teens: headphones or earbuds, Bluetooth speakers, skincare and beauty items, hair accessories, wallets or purses, sports gear, journals, art supplies, hoodies, blankets
- Gift cards: Target, Walmart, Amazon, Five Below and similar stores, which are especially helpful for older kids and teens
Please don’t wrap anything. Gifts are set out in the store so parents can pick the ones that best fit their own children.
