Grandparenting Jewishly
Six Sundays, October 4 – November 8, 2026 · 10:00–11:30 AM
Being a grandparent is one of the great joys of a Jewish life — and one of its quieter challenges. How do you share what you love about Judaism without overstepping? What do you do when your grandchildren live far away, or are being raised differently than you raised your own children? How do you pass something on that feels like yours to give?
Over six Sunday mornings this fall, a small group of grandparents will meet in the CRC library to talk about exactly these questions. It’s a warm and meaningful space to connect, share, and grow together as we nurture our next generation — a conversation among people who are living the same thing, with room for stories, practical ideas, and the occasional good laugh.
A warm and meaningful space to connect, share, and grow together as we nurture our next generation. Led by CRC member and Jewish educator Marcia Mermelstein.
Grandparents of all backgrounds are welcome, whether or not you’re a CRC member. No prior study, Hebrew, or Jewish background is needed — just an interest in the conversation.
