In the aftermath of the devastating tornado that ripped through Richmond Heights, Clayton, CWE, and North City, our neighbors are still reeling.
Action St. Louis and For the Culture STL launched the “People’s Response Hub” to meet the urgent needs of our neighbors across St. Louis.
CRC organized a large volunteer crew led by Rabbi Randy to support the People’s Response, assisting in the field with storm cleanup and debris removal, as well as helping with organization and distribution of supply donations at the O’Fallon Park Rec Center.
Many CRC volunteers caravanned to the site, with more joining us there and all were quickly put to work and disbursed to different areas of need. Rabbi Randy reported working closely with local officials who were on the ground and helping direct volunteering efforts. The help was much appreciated.
