a Jewish presence in the City of St. Louis
social responsibility
CRC's Social Responsibility leaders work to make sure that there are enough volunteer opportunities for all of our members, including families looking for projects where everyone can volunteer together.
Periodically, we plan programs specifically targeted to young families. Past programs have included visiting nursing home residents and building Build-a-Bear animals for patients at St. Louis Children's Hospital. We are in
the process of planning more upcoming programs for families with children of all ages!
In addition, the following programs are recommended for those looking to volunteer as a family:
Room at the Inn hospitality (all ages)
Weatherization (12+)
Reach Out and Read (12+)
Disaster Relief (depending on the activity)
Pride Parade (all ages)
Tikkun Closet and Jewish Food Pantry (all ages)
Are you looking for a particular volunteer opportunity for your family, or would you like to help plan one for other CRC families? Please contact John Terranova at john@centralreform.org or 314-361-1564 ext. 105.
