There is lots to do at CRC for families with young children! Here are just some of the ways your family can get involved.
Weekly Opportunities
Family Services

Monthly Opportunities
Rainbow Connection
A parent/toddler class for families with children younger than four years. Programs are designed to create and enhance a Jewish home through music, art stories and play. Rainbow Connection is offered the first Saturday of each month during the school year. Tot Shabbat
A great family event, geared towards families with children ages 8 and under, that includes a dynamic service led by our CRC Rabbis. Enjoy songs, a story and a creative activity in addition to a delicious Kiddush complete with snacks. This program occurs on the first Friday evening of every month at 6:00 pm. Special Occasions
Holiday Programs
We offer some wonderful events throughout the year and we would love for you to be there! A few examples: On Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur we host children’s services. After Rosh Hashanah, join us for Tashlich, as we walk from CRC to the park. Try our Purim Carnival, join us in decorating our Sukkah, or come celebrate with us at our Simchat Torah service.
Social Action Programs
Volunteering together is a great way to get involved in the CRC community! We have lots of opportunities appropriate for families, including Room at the Inn, Pride Fest, and the Food Pantry. Visit the Social Responsibility section of our website to read about programs for families to do together.
Babysitting
Every Saturday morning during services, as well as for High Holiday services, we offer free babysitting. If you would like to attend the service with adults only, we welcome your children to join us in the Youth Group Room for babysitting during the service. Please call ahead to Joy Lieberman and let us know if your children will be attending: (314) 361-3919.
