a Jewish presence in the City of St. Louis
a place for everyone
Throughout the year, CRC hosts special programs that give opportunities for women to study, pray and celebrate together. Some of these programs include:
Every year (usually in the winter or early spring), CRC's women go to a retreat facility near St. Louis for 24 hours of reflection and renewal time, led by Rabbi Susan and Maggie Duwe. Activities usually include hiking, sharing, singing, and even the occasional craft project! For information about the next Women's Retreat, please contact Maggie Duwe at maggie@centralreform.org or 314-361-1564 ext. 112.
CRC holds a special Passover seder just for women each spring, led by Rabbi Susan, Maggie Duwe, and a team of lay leaders. We sing, dance, and celebrate our freedom and reflect on the lessons the Pesach story holds for our lives today.
Description of Group: Join other women to learn, discuss and grow through Jewish teachings and rituals. This Rosh Chodesh group will explore topics such as body image, female rituals, Jewish baking, our connection with nature, celebrating our creativity, moon cycles and the Jewish calendar. Each month on the evening of the new moon we will laugh together, learn together and build a network of women who can support each other through different phases of life.
