Tikkun Olam - Repair of the World

Throughout our history, CRC has indeed been a shelter of peace where everyone is warmly welcomed. But we have also been a bridge to the larger community. We understand and accept our responsibility to be a part of the solution in our neighborhoods, our city and our world.

Tikkun Olam Opportunities at CRC:

Tikkun Olam Teams: Join one of CRC's Tikkun Olam Teams, which are focusing on Healthcare Access, Education, and making CRC more Environmentally-Friendly.

Social Responsibility Circle: Help CRC's Social Responsibility Circle plan projects around their four focus issues: Civil Rights, Poverty, Racial Justice, and Darfur.  The Social Responsibility Circle is also responsible for reviewing and approving other proposed Tikkun Olam projects.

Advocacy: Take action on issues that matter to you by contacting elected officials or other decision-makers. 

Social Responsibility Shabbat: On the second Friday night of every month, CRC welcomes a guest speaker to speak about social responsibility.  Click here for information on upcoming speakers!
