Torah Study

This web page has been set up to update the happenings of the Weekly Shabbat Torah Study. It meets every Saturday morning at 8:45am in the Sifriat Shalom, CRC's peace library.

CRC Torah Study Links

Here is a list of useful sites for our lay leaders to use in preparing to lead Torah Study. Please let me know if you haveother links you like and would like me to add. Gentle admonitions of inactive links or errata are also appreciated

This site also includes a link to a calendar of our upcoming readings, which will indicate who is leading us and with what reading. Please contact me or Marian if you want to volunteer to lead our group or if you have suggestions for holy day readings. At the bottom of this page there are useful links to other Torah Study sites.

Thanks,
Steve

From Yeshivat Har Etzion in Israel, with links to its own and others' archives of weekly portions.

Torah from Dixie
An assortment of commentaries from a cross-section of Atlanta's Jewish community.

Simply Jewish
Rabbi Rami Shapiro's Simply Jewish site; this link takes you to his library, which includes divrei Torah.

Generates a Jewish Calendar with Torah portions, etc.

Navigating the Bible
A site maintained by World Ort for Torah study: features text in translation, transliteration, modern typed Hebrew and as a scribe would write it. It also has divrei torah, haftaraot, real audio files of cantillation and a Bible family tree.
