Shabbat Learner's Service

Understanding Israel
Sundays, 3-5 pm: Oct. 14, Oct. 28
This is a fun overview of "what is Israel?" It is part history, part culture and music, part politics, and part sight-seeing.  "All you want to know" before your first-or your next-trip to Israel.  Taught by Richard Katz.  RSVP to Jordan by Friday, October 12 (October 14 class) or Friday, October 26 (October 28 class).

Introduction to Jewish Spiritual Direction
Tuesdays, 7-8:30 pm: Oct. 16, Oct. 23, Oct. 30
Jewish Spiritual Direction is a process in which individuals examine their relationship with God. Through texts, music, movement and structured exercises we will look at the presence of the Divine in our lives and explore how to develop spiritual practices that bring God closer to us. Taught by Ed and Debbie Harris.
