Central Reform Congregation

Membership

The mission of the Membership Circle is to find ways to welcome new members and build community in our ever-growing population. The circle develops and sponsors programs for new members through the year. The circle also co-hosts the reception for new members immediately preceding the Slichot Service.

The Member Services Circle also serves as the umbrella of a number of autonomous, active circles in the congregation. Among them are the Mitzvah Corps, Chavurah Organizing Committee, Shabbat Dinners, Sages and Thyme, and the Vision Group.

One of the primary activities of the Member Services Circle is sponsoring prospective member coffees. These are quarterly events held at CRC to provide an opportunity for people interested in learning more about CRC to meet current members, hear about the activities and programs we provide, and ask questions specific to their needs.

Member Services has sponsored an outdoor summer service, congregational picnics and a summer time Kiddush luncheon after service.
