Tikkun Olam Teams at CRC

Based on input from CRC's members in Summer-Fall 2007, CRC has formed Tikkun Olam Teams to coordinate congregation-wide projects on topics of great concern to CRC members.

CRC's Tikkun Olam Teams are currently meeting to consider and design action plans for CRC.  We are seeking new members for all of our Tikkun Olam Teams and encourage anyone who is interested to attend one of our upcoming meetings.

Environment Tikkun Olam Team

CRC's Environment Tikkun Olam Team is considering ways to make CRC's Sukkat Shalom building - and our members' homes - more environmentally friendly. Team members are researching issues such as clean energy, public transportation, waste reduction, and environmentally-friendly products.

Healthcare Tikkun Olam Team

CRC's Healthcare Tikkun Olam Team is committed to increasing healthcare access. The Team engaged in legislative advocacy during the 2008 legislative session and will select their next project at their July meeting.  New members are always welcome!.

Education Tikkun Olam Team

CRC's Education Tikkun Olam Team is planning a congregation-wide partnership with the St. Louis Juvenile Detention Center.  Plan to attend the August 8 Social Responsibility Shabbat Service to hear about this exciting new project!
