Introduction to
Hebrew Monday evenings from 6:20 to
7:30

Understanding Israel Sundays, 3-5 pm: Oct. 14, Oct. 28 This is a
fun overview of "what is Israel?" It is part history, part
culture and music, part politics, and part sight-seeing.
"All you want to know" before your first-or your next-trip to
Israel. Taught by Dr. Richard Katz. RSVP to Jordan by Friday, October 12 (October
14 class) or Friday, October 26 (October 28 class).
Introduction to Jewish Spiritual
Direction Tuesdays, 7-8:30 pm: Oct. 16, Oct. 23, Oct.
30 Jewish Spiritual Direction is a process in
which individuals examine their relationship with God. Through
texts, music, movement and structured exercises we will look at
the presence of the Divine in our lives and explore how to
develop spiritual practices that bring God closer to us. Taught
by Ed and Debbie Harris. RSVP to Jordan by Monday (one day before

Camp Wyman, Eureka, MO Explore Shabbat among
the trees and around the campfire with Rabbi Fleisher at

Daniel Tuesdays at 6:20: November 6, November 13,

Hebrew/Aramaic text study and discussion group, in honor of our

Mystical Texts: The Early Masters
Sunday, November 18, 2-5 pm
We will begin by
reading the Sources themselves: the mystical Torah, Talmud
Hagigah (the mystical tractate of the Talmud), Sefer Yetzierah
(Book of Formation), Sefer Bahir (Book of Brightness), and
Zohar. Taught by Rabbi James Stone Goodman.
